Hotels and Motels in the AreaBelow, you will find an annotated list of some hotels/motels in the area. Please note that these are just our suggestions, not a comprehensive list. Please call these hotels. We've heard reports that the prices may actually be lower than the ones we've listed here. If you want to spend between $50-$60:
Sea-Tac Skyway Inn
Marco Polo Motel
If you want to spend between $60-$70:There are many hotels close to Sea-Tac airport that are reasonable. If you stay at any of these hotels, you will be a 15-minute drive from the Seattle Aquarium and other points downtown, and a 20-minute drive to our home. All of these hotels have all the charm associated with hotels near airports (which is to say, none at all). We checked out Red Roof Inn:
Comparable hotels with comparable rates in the same area are: Sea-Tac Crest Motor Inn
Sleep Inn
Ramada Inn
Econo Lodge
Travelodge
If you want to spend between $90-$130:Our suggestion would be to stay at one of several hotels near the Seattle Center. These are all within easy walking distance of Seattle Center (home to the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Experience Music Project, Key Arena, Seattle Opera House, Seattle Repertory Theater, and various other venues), a minute to downtown, easy bus rides to everywhere, and a 5-minute drive (or bus ride) to our home. Comfort Suites ($89-$130)
Inn at Queen Anne ($99)
Seattle Travelodge ($109-$129)
If you want to break the bank:Edgewater Inn
