I am a freelance writer and editor. I've got a resume, but I suggest that you check out some writing samples. I've written reviews and previews, feature articles, and reference book entries. I also have a few regular columns, and I maintain the live music calendar for Tablet newspaper.
I also write fiction. I am a graduate of the Clarion West Writers' Workshop, and have had a story published in the eighth issue of Glyph.
I'm a former semi-pro musician, with college-level instruction in drums and percussion. I still play, on occasion, and am currently seeking instruction in taiko. I also train in non-classical wing chun gung fu, read a lot, and follow obscure Seattle bands.
