Bad Date

M. and I never really dated. We're one of those friends-who-fall-in-love-then-come-out-together couples. And while that's kind of cute, it means we were living together immediately and never really got to date.

Now we date. Just every once in a while.

I woke this morning and informed M. that our movie outting today should be a DATE and she should plan it. It's been amusing. She's been trying to reel me into the planning process and I'm having NONE of it. He he.

After all, it's a date, and this girl wants to be picked up and swept away.

Me and my hubby have been friends since kindergarden, so I know what you mean about not dating. We fell inlove the same way. We now plan dates for eachother, or make a suprise big candle lit dinner for the eachother while the other is at work.Or exchange little gifts.

I think of it as dating without the pressure of wondering if this person likes me, and you know the date is always gonna end with a little action ;)

Yeah...better get swept off your feet while you can still see 'em! Yay for romantic married couples!

same story with hope and me...went from roommates in college to...more. we've recently gotten out of the habit of date night, but friday night is our typical "date." i agree with em, that dating now is so much better! much more enjoyable. :)

Rose and I have a weekly date night and we never make plans with anyone else on that night. It's saved our marriage! We don't always go out or do anything, but we turn off the phone and actually spend time together.
