M. and I went to see a lovely little documentary called Inlaws and Outlaws. It's about long-term couples, mostly same-sex. The thing I liked the most about it was the couples talked about their relationships on a very intimate level. You rarely see people revealing that much on the screen.

I've always said I would have married M. the moment I met her, and we've always wanted children. But we're two women and that complicates things. Fourteen years, one commitment ceremony, one legal marriage and eight inseminations later, we finally have the family we dreamed of.

This looks good... I saw something on Showtime this past month called SameSex America about Massachusetts passing the marriage act. They followed 7 couples up to their weddings. It was great.
