Congratulations! You've stumbled across one of the buried treasures, strewn about the Land.
This is the easiest recipe for peanut butter cookies that I've ever seen!
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Mix the peanut butter and sugar together in a bowl. Add the egg and vanilla, and mix well.
Scoop up bits of the mixture and roll into balls about 1" in diameter (you'll have to use your
hands for this, so remember to wash your hands first!) and place the balls onto a cookie
sheet. Flatten the balls with a fork so that it forms a criss-cross pattern (oh heck, just mash
them down anyway you please!). Bake at 300 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
These won't win you any awards, but when you're dyin' for a cookie...
