Samuel L. Jackson Samuel L. Jackson is one of the coolest dudes I have ever seen on the silver screen. He has incredible presence, magnetism and charisma, whether he's playing a killer, an ex-con, a wise-cracking urbanite, or whatever. His acting is quite good, in my opinion, allowing him to fill all kinds of roles. I really enjoy watching him perform. Among other things, he does "intense" and "menacing" very well! The first movie I (along with everyone else) probably recognized him in was Pulp Fiction. His portrayal of Jules, the philosophical hit man, was awesome. I have seen some of the movies he had done before (Do the Right Thing, GoodFellas, etc.), but didn't know who he was then. Since then, I've caught him in such movies as The Long Kiss Goodnight, Die Hard: With a Vengeance, A Time to Kill and, most recently, Jackie Brown. His filmography is now a block long and includes many big hits. Thankfully, it probably won't stop growing for quite some time.
