Liam Neeson Okay, I'll admit it, sometimes I like a performer simply because of a role they did. Liam is one of those guys. While he's a fine actor in his own right, I have a special fondness for him because of his role as Darkman in Sam Raimi's movie of the same name. This was probably the first movie in which I recognized him as an actor, as well. Like David Duchovny, perhaps, Liam is one of those guys who does "understated" very well. He excels when the acting is subtle and not "in your face" like a lot of action movie heroes. Another movie he did which I enjoyed was Rob Roy. Granted, it was pretty formulaic, but was interesting nonetheless. While I haven't seen that many movies with Liam in them, I have enjoyed the ones I've seen.
