The Turning is a moderately interesting drama about the return of a not-so-prodigal son to a small town.
The film focuses on the angry young man who has become a neo-Nazi and must confront the reality of his
father's infidelity and the disintegration of his nuclear family.
Gillian has only a small role as a waitress -- pretty much a throw-away part -- in this film. But, the film does also contain Gillian's only (known) on-screen nudity, to date, in a love scene with the young man. Also starring Karen Allen (Raiders of the Lost Ark) as the other woman, the film is a little slow, but I still found it to be... quaint. Ultimately, I thought it was okay, but I don't know if I'd recommend it to anyone.
