I often have very vivid, and relatively coherent dreams. I usually remember my dreams (or, at least parts of them) upon waking even if they aren't interesting; although sometimes I'll forget them later in the day. Awhile back, I started writing the more interesting of my dreams down when I awoke to help me remember them over time. Unfortunately, I lost many of these in a hard-drive crash. There was one interesting one about an invasion of cockroaches that would infest a person's body and take them over. It became one of those horror stories where you didn't know if a person was a cockroach-host or not (kind of like The Thing). I've also spoken to ghosts in my dreams, dreamt I was a torturer or inquisitor, and dreamt I was a Nazi protecting Hitler. Once (long before the X-Files came out), I dreamt about aliens invading the Earth, three nights in a row. Each night was a different dream, but they all had the alien invasion theme in common. The Dreamland is a record of the more interesting of my dreams. All you amateur psychoanalists should have a field day with my subconscious -- it's pretty weird.
