My great-grandparents, Patrick Edward King and Sarah Agnes O'Donnell, were married in St. Paul, Ramsey Co., Minnesota on June 21, 1898. Patrick's parents immigrated to Minnesota from Ireland around 1870. Sarah was born in Rusheenamangh (Roisín na maniach), a townland in the parish of Carna, Co. Galway, Ireland. With her widowed mother and several siblings, Sarah immigrated to the United States when she was about 8 years old.
I have created this database summarizing what I know of three generations of the O'Donnell and King families. Please choose from the following links to explore:
Descendants of John and Mary (Green) King
Descendants of Bartley and Anne (Ridge) O'Donnell
Carna Parish Marriages and Baptisms - transcribed during my trip to Ireland in July, 2000.
I would love to exchange information with others who are researching the King and/or O'Donnell families. In particular, I would like to learn more about my great-great grandparents and their families. Please contact me at: jtenlen@drizzle.com.
