On 11 Oct 1804 John married Jane Darland[125], daughter of Garret Darland (1755-6 Mar 1820) & Jane Ward, in Mercer Co., Kentucky. Born on 17 Apr 1785 in Pennsylvania. Was on the census for Pleasant Twp., Johnson Co., Indiana, in 1835. Was on the census for Pleasant Twp., Johnson Co., Indiana, in 1850.[126] Jane died in Pleasant Twp., Johnson Co., Indiana, on 5 Nov 1853; she was 68.[127]

29. Mary "Polly" Gaunt.[128],[129] Born in 1783. Mary "Polly" died in 1835.
On 15 Aug 1805 Mary "Polly" married Henry Eccles[128], son of Joseph Eccles & Jane Carr, in Mercer Co., Kentucky. Born on 4 May 1781 in Berkeley Co., Virginia. Henry died in Vandalia, Coles Co., Illinois, on 21 Sep 1851; he was 70.

30. Jane Gaunt.[17] Born abt 1777 in Botetourt Co., Virginia. Was on the census for Taylor Co., Kentucky, in 1850.[132]
Bef 1801 Jane married John Buchanan (39) [17],[131], son of George Buchanan (abt 1745-5 May 1813) & Margaret McAfee (9) (1747-), in Kentucky. Born on 17 May 1768 in Wythe Co., Virginia. John died in Taylor Co., Kentucky [or Green Co., Kentucky?], on 20 Sep 1834; he was 66. Occupation: farmer, stock trader.
