Assumption
If you had been chosen by heaven, how could you live again on earth after
being unchosen? A prose experiment in two voices, set in and after The
Gift.
The Sun, the Moon, the Stars
Continuing the story a few years after Heliotrope, Buffy begins to
think about the future for her and for Spike, and what it really means to
earn a place in heaven.
Heliotrope
A few years after Chosen, Spike finds the safe world he's created
for himself, after being brought back without knowing why or how, shaken
up by Buffy's return to his life.
The Perfume of Kismet
Spike runs into Buffy in LA; during their interlude, they teach each other
a few things about grief, longing, and despair, as Angel's shadow looms
over them both. Again with the kinda dark and smutty.

Spike's attempt to gain a soul goes awry, and his adventures and misadventures
trying to change back turn his life upside down and take him all over the
place, to familiar and unfamiliar faces. A work in not much progress.
A Brief History of Now
A Willow's-eye-view of Buffy and Spike, and the changes they're going through
separately and together.
When We Were Lovers
This is a tiny thing I wrote as a timed exercise in my writing group, set
the night of Dirty Girls, that I'd originally posted in my LJ.
Soft What Light
A little vignette about identity and changes, both for Spike and Buffy,
after she comes back through the time portal.
The Valorous Vampire
"In the entire history of Slayers from the pre-classical to the current,
only one has had consensual sexual relations with sanguisugent biologically
nonviable desouled beings. This paper examines Buffy Summers and her past
and current relationships with two such creatures, and seeks explanation
for how such relations may affect the outcome in the fight against Evil,
particularly in regards to the Vampire Spike, AKA William the Bloody."
Council of Watchers Journal, November, 2002.
The Living
After dumping Spike, Buffy appears to have a change of heart and drags him
on a strange, painful road trip. Kinda dark and kinda smutty.
Somniloquy: 1. Inanition | 2. Sub Rosa | 3. Transilience
What if Spike had actually saved Dawn, and thus saved Buffy, in The Gift?
Does being a reluctant hero change your status with the people who are reluctant
to admit your heroics? And would Buffy know it if the ending of her story
was supposed to be different? Short novel/long novella length.
The Price for Flight
One night with Buffy and Spike after his return to Sunnydale, as Spike tries
to cope with having a soul, being integrated back into the lives of the
Scoobies, and wanting to do right by Buffy. A little humor (I hope) inside
a lot of angst.
Better Left Unsaid
Buffy gets a glimpse of different aspects of Spike's personality, and finds
that the things she thought she knew about him -- and how she feels about
him -- might not be everything she believed.
A Sea of Gold
A bit of self-indulgence in the form of a character-study vignette about
Spike's love for Buffy. Written right after the musical episode, it probably
will contradict all upcoming canon, but c'est la guerre.
Mercy Street
When Dana returns to LA looking for Spike, they make a strange truce and
find a way to help each other with their damage.
Snowfall
The end of all things in the furious winter.
All the Tea in China
Spike visits Wes one night, and they share some whiskey and personal discoveries.
Around the Block
Dawn comes to Spike with a proposition and the two of them end up discovering
a few truths about each other -- and about that special slayer-someone in
both their lives.
