This two-part compound is now available to the discriminating artist who wants to make high quality molds without the necessity of extra equipment.

Miracle Mold^TMis a two-part room temperature vulcanizing ("RTV") mold compound. In simple terms, this means that the material will set up in minutes without the need for vacuum de-bubbling or heating to bring it to a stable form.  All you need is the kit and the simple instructions that come with the kit and you are ready to make molds.

Please note that we have been working on some improvements to Miracle Mold^TM which include a slightly stronger molded result.  Current batches (Spring 2005) may appear somewhat different in color (redder) and texture (firmer) than batches you have seen in the past.  It's still the same great product, but may feel a bit different.  It's still bakable and flexible and you can probably use less of it for the back of your molds.  Remember that you can "tweak" the firmness and set-up time of your molds by adding more of the red part (for softer consistency and longer set-up time.)

One of the things that makes Miracle Mold^TMdifferent from similar products on the market is it's tolerance for high temperatures.   This material will withstand temperatures of up to 650°F, without melting or creating a noxious odor, which means that you can cure your polymer clay piece in the oven, or bring your PMC creations to the leather-hard stage without risking the distortion that occurs when removing raw items from other mold materials.

Additionally, the make-up of this particular compound allows you to heat it over and over indefinitely for sustained periods of time.  Some other materials on the market *might* allow limited heating, but will soon degrade and lose sharpness of image due to a different chemical composition than that in Miracle Mold^TM .  Compare the toughness of Miracle Mold^TM with other available products and you will know you have something special here.  Miracle Mold^TM will not rip or separate easily like many of the other products we've tested.  This is strong stuff!

Library life of Miracle Mold^TM is indefinite!  Who wants to make molds again in 2-3 years, which is the library life of many other products - at best!
