champagne, caviar and cheeseburgers
It's hard to make everyone happy in this family, but last night I think we managed it, with a slightly odd combination of foods... Shout out to the exceptionally nice people at the Seattle Caviar Company (http://caviar.com) who, for the last few years since the embargo against Iran was sorta lifted (at least for caviar and carpets), have been importing the very best stuff and making it available to us here in Seattle. With all of Bush's saber-rattling against Iran lately, who knows if that will last, so get some while the gettin's good. Also highly recommended, the split of Billecart-Salmon brut rose - yeah, it's pink, but don't let that fool you, this is some of the tastiest champagne in the world.
