Subject: Request for IEEE 802.11 EAP Requirements to be Published as an Informal RFC

Dear IESG members,

The purpose of this e-mail is to request that draft-walker-ieee802-req-00.txt be published as an RFC.

I would also respectfully request early assignment of an RFC # to RFC 2284bis, by March 15, 2004.
RFC2284bis is a document dependency for both the forthcoming IEEE 802.11i and 802.1X-REV standards.

Our next scheduled 802.11 Working Group session is due to convene the week beginning March 14, 2004,
and our intention is continue the work of IEEE 802.11i in Task Group meetings. Therefore I would ask
that you please look favorable upon our request. Thank you.
