How can I save my web pages as *.html rather than *.htm?

Just because a particular software program saves files with ".htm" appended to them, rather than ".html", shouldn't mean that you have to upload them to the web that way. When you are uploading pages to the web, your FTP program should let you choose to change the file from ".htm" to ".html" before it actually uploads it.

So just change the name when you're actually uploading the file to your public_html directory.
