Will my 56K modem work with Drizzle?

Yes, if it is a K56FLEX or a V.90 modem. (X2 modems need to be flash upgraded to the V.90 standard to get connection speeds faster than 33.6K.) However, you will probably never see a 56K connection. Why? 56K modems can deliver download speeds up to 56,000 bytes per second, but only under "laboratory" conditions.
