The Airwaves

Recently I've taken to listening to another local band called Critters Buggin'. Their music is primarily instrumental, but often uses spoken word to accompany it. I really have no idea what genre this music belongs to. It's not as primal as ¡TchKunG!, not really techno or ambient noise, and it certainly ain't dance or Top 40. In a way, I suppose you could think of Critters Buggin' as a more "alternative" version of Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet.

Oddly, I don't usually get into music like this. My mainstream upbringing causes me to gravitate around more melodic stuff. But, I really dig Critters Buggin'.

Anyway, I haven't listened to them for long (I'm not sure that they've been around for that long), so am not an authoritative source for Bugginformation, by any means. But, according to the CDs I have, the band is comprised of Matt Chamberlain, Brad Houser and Bubba Aabozo. I only have two of their CDs and suspect that there are a couple others out there.

Okay, I just got another CB album called "Guest", and am digging it big time.
